FAQ
Childbirth Educators can make anywhere from $0 (those who want only to work as volunteers) to $80,000 a year.
A doula or prenatal yoga teacher training teaches you about childbirth education topics. A Childbirth Educator training teaches you HOW to teach inspiring and relevant classes to birthers and their support team. If you are a doula or prenatal yoga teacher you will be able to weave in your birth and postpartum knowledge into your classes and this training will teach you how to do it.
Our take on this is yes! Although childbirth education is not a regulated profession, a Lamaze training will teach you how to create classes that have been scientifically proven to improve birth outcomes.
Julia and Sue Ann will lead live and recorded classes in embodied education that will help you connect the dots with your education in yoga teaching and birth work and mentor you every step of the way. You will learn to create your own 10 week program, workshops and more!
Yes you can participate via zoom recordings if you do not plan on sitting for the Lamaze exam. Lamaze requires participants to attend live for all of the hours listed above in order to certify through them. It really depends on how you plan on applying this course to your offerings.
Absolutely! Please contact us for more information.
Yes, we welcome any student who has taken a 20-85 hour prenatal yoga teacher training.
We blend theory and practice, blending embodied throughout the course. There will be peer discussion, facilitator led workshops and more.
The sessions will also be recorded and available for you to reference after the session via Teachable. If you miss a session, you must watch it before our following live session to keep up with the pace of the program.
We do not offer funds for our online courses because we’ve invested a lot of time and energy into creating the course content and videos. Once you’ve had access to these files, as in all information, it holds value. Should you have a health concern and are otherwise unable to complete the program, please contact us.
